New Year, New stores for Warwickshire Shopping Park
anuary welcomed two new family stores, Explore Learning and Creations to the Shopping Park.
Explore Learning, children’s English and Maths tuition centre, opens it 139th store in the UK, with a newly designed location at Warwickshire Shopping Park, with the official opening taking place on the 24th January.
Centre director Zoe Seth, said: “We are the first of its kind being a ‘Centre of the Future’, a new, bespoke design created for the new Coventry launch. Everything in the centre has been created for the new unit, from the desks we are using to the graphics on the walls.”
Zoe is part of a team of 3 centre directors, heading up the education centre, a first in Coventry. After being born, bred and educated herself in Coventry, including attending Coventry University, she is thrilled to be able to be a role model and make a real difference to children in the community.
Zoe added, “It is an exciting up area, with a great range of retail stores and eateries for families to enjoy. This means that when members are being dropped off for their sessions, their family members and friends will not be short of something to do.”
“It is in a great position within the community and is super easy to get to via any form of transportation. The area is clean and fresh and well looked after, which really ties in with our look as a centre.”
Not only has Explore Learning joined the park but Creations, the independent kids craft and party store has also taken space at the Shopping Park, bringing families even more choice at the out of town shopping park which already hosts popular brands: M&S Foodhall, DW Sports, Pure Gym and many more.
Maria and Shirley have joined forces as owners of the Creations store, to bring kids craft making and children’s parties together into one location, to offer a better facility for Coventry families.
Maria also owns ‘Kidzpartyzone’ children’s party venue where children’s disco parties and bear making parties are held with a huge indoor bouncy castle. Maria wanted to expand the build a teddy side of the business offering a retail shop selling bears and accessories to the general public.
Shirley previously owned ‘Arti Parti’ and wanted to relocate the business to attract more passing trade and offer better facilities.
Maria, said “Alongside bear building and pottery painting we offer group sessions for adults or children and lots of children’s half term activities, there will be lots more exciting activities to follow as well. No appointments are required and families can pop in at any time to enjoy quality time together making memories.”
Shirley said “The location is perfect as it’s so close to the motorway network and so accessible with a good public transport service which takes you straight to the park.”
Regional Manager, Susan James of JLL who manages the Shopping Park said, “Following a number of successful lettings in 2016, 2017 and into 2018 at the Warwickshire Shopping Park, the venue built in 2013 is now 89% occupied.”
